🐾 Smokey Valley Kennel: Raising Washington State Aussies
We are Washington State Aussies, located in Toledo. Consequently, we have proudly raised the breed for many years under the well-known name of Smokey Valley Kennel. We primarily focus on raising Miniature Australian Shepherds. However, we do sometimes have some in the smaller Toy size as well.

Miniature Aussies are the ideal type of dog for the active lifestyle prevalent in Washington State. Indeed, they are perfectly suited to the active family. This family loves to go walking, jogging, camping, hiking, and also enjoy so much more of the wonderful, lush lifestyle that Washington families embrace.
Adaptable to All Lifestyles
Furthermore, the Mini Australian Shepherds are easily adapted to City or Suburban Homes. These homes are common across Washington State. They thrive on city walks, dog parks, jogging, and naturally meeting new people daily. In fact, for suburban families in WA State, they welcome family outings such as kids’ baseball or soccer games and any family activity.
🧠 High Intelligence and Activity
Mini Aussies are well known for their abilities to excel in various activities, including Obedience, Herding, Fly Ball, and Frisbee. They excel in all they do because they are one of the smartest breeds of dog, regardless of the size.
Farm-Raised Puppies
Our pups are born and raised on our small Family Farm around our other miniature animals. The grand kids love to play with them. Similarly, anyone lucky enough to come when we have a litter loves to play with them, too. Coat Colors
Mini Aussies come in many colors, but the four basic colors are as follows: Black Tri, Red Tri, Blue Merle, and Red Merle. Consequently, both Merle colors have the typical tri tan/orange markings. Additionally, all colors can have flashy white markings, some more, some less.
